Why Anwar should not be finance minister if pakatan win.

Anwar Ibrahim was the financed minister of Malaysia during the A,sia financial crisis in 1997.

The crisis erupted because George Soros with the financial backing of the US Federal Reserve start "SHORTING" the ringgit. At that time,Malaysia have only US$ 20 BILLION in foreign reserves and this amount is insufficient to defend the ringgit.

As a result,the economy of Malaysia collapsed and heading into depression.

Under the keynesian economics theory,when the country economy is heading towards depression and collapsing,it is the duty of the govt to PUMP PRIME the economy by spending money on project like infrastructure and other developments projects in order to create jobs and business growth and the economy will expand through the MULTIPLIER EFFECT.

This is due to the fact that foreign investment is non existent and Pump Priming is the only tool to get the economy going towards recovery.

Instead of doing the above move,Our Friend Anwar do the opposite and introduced the followings measure:-

1)Tightening and reduction in govt spending. THIS IS A STUPID MOVE as reduction of spending is a negative move that reduce economic activities which result in high unemployment with an increase in social problems.

2)Anwar like to listen to advice from the Americans and all this advice is DETRIMENTAL to the economy of Malaysia as the americans want to use Anwar to control Malaysia economically and politically.

3)Telling the Rakyat to tightened their belts by reducing personal spending and comsumption.This is a BODOH move by Anwar with the hope of KICKING OUT OLD MAN M as PM.

I am not a fan of Orang Tua but I respect him as he was right to implement Capital Control to save Malaysia and also in sacking Anwar.

I will be very worried if Anwar is the finance minister if Pakatan win the next election and I would prefer accountant Guan Eng to be the finance minister as he is known to be careful with the Rakyat money.

Recently,a friend ask me WHY UMNO DID NOT GO INTO SARAWAK?

My answer to his question is The RICHEST MAN in Malaysia Taib MAHMUD. When old man Dr M was the PM, the then MB of Selangor Mat "MIKE TYSON" Taib wanted to challenge Orang Tua for the UMNO presidency. To overcome Mike Tyson,Old Man appointed a private investigator(PI) from London to investigate Tyson.

After 2 months,the Mat Salleh PI CAME BACK WITH A VERY THICK FILE which shocked old man.The reason the file is thick as it contain the information of 2 TAIBS because as far as the Mat Salleh is concerned Mat Taib and Taib Mahmud is the SAME person.Immediately,old man summoned Mike TYson to Putrajaya and from that moment Mike Tyson became a GOOD BOY to old man.

As far as Taib Mahmud is concerned,he is only interested to stay forever as chief minister of Sarawak. Hence,he is not a threat to old man but orang tua know that he has a lot of cash.So,old man summoned him to putrajaya and ask him for a donation.Immediately,he made a personal donation of RM 400 million to UMNO with the condition that Umno do not go into Sarawak.In this coming election,I think he will come up with another RM 400 million to fight for the 31 parliament seats in Sarawak.It will not be a problem since his total assets is RM 4.6 BILLION and Najib need not finance BN Sarawak as along as he leave Taib alone.

My last posting is an analysis of the amount contributed by the 40 companies to the UMNO election warchest and the total amount came to a staggering RM 790 MILLION.

The above amount does not include the warchest of other BN component parties such as Parti Pesaka Bumiputra (PBB),MCA,MIC and other parties. We assume that the total amount of all the other parties is RM 100 million.

Therefore,the total of all BN funding is as folows:- RM (Million)

UMNO ELECTION WARCHEST

Today,we discuss an interesting topic that is the Umno warchest in the coming 13th General Election.

In 1984,I was a young man working for Hanafiah,Raslan & Mohamad (HRM) who was the auditors for Bank Bumiputra (BBMB). During the course of the audit,I found out that before any general election, BBMB will donate RM 5 Million to the Umno election fund.

Before he died in the helicopter crash in Trengganu,the late Yahya Ahmad of DRB donated RM50 million to the warchest of Umno.

A lot of people is expecting an opposition win in the coming election but in my opinion it is not easy to beat Umno in the coming election due to the huge warchest that it has because of the contribution from the private sector and the GLCs.

I have chosen only 40 companies who I think will contribute towards the Umno election fund and most of this companies are listed in Bursa Malaysia.The followings are the companies and the amount that I think they will contribute:- RM (Millions)

The total of RM790 Millions is a conservative number and it does not include other donations especially from small businesses.

Playing politics is like playing POKER in that the person with the most cash will always win.With RM 790 MILLION,it will be difficult for Umno to lose in the election.

Personally,in order to secure the future of our younger generation,I hope Parti CURI Umno will lose in the next election but with the warchest that it has,it will be difficult for Pakatan Rakyat to win.

Even if Umno loses,it will not let go of the power it has easily, as I belief,SOME PEOPLE WILL CREATE RIOT IN ORDER TO RETAIN ITS POWER THROUGH THE EMERGENCY ACT.

The Rocketman Elton John

When I was a young man in the eighties,beside Bee Gees Don't forget to remember,my other favourite songs was Daniel,Crocodile Rock and Goodbye yellow brick road by the Rocketman Elton John.

So,last tuesday 22nd November,after years of waiting,Elton John finally performed in Malaysia by playing to a full house at Genting Highlands.

As usual,I bought the cheapest ticket which is RM 380 and this money of mine is well spent when you see the Rocketman sing Sad Song,Candle in the Wind,Daniel,Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,Sacrifices,That why they call it the blues and lastly,Crocodile Rock.

After Crocodile Rock ,he went backstage but was coaxed by the applause of the fans and he came onstage again to sing Circle of life and Lion KING.

I have a very good and enjoyable evening and I hope the rocketman will come back to perform again in Malaysia.

MAKAN dan MINUM

Today,for a change,we get away from politics and we discuss about food,that is the food we MAKAN and MINUM.

The favourite sports and pastime for malaysians today is not football,hockey,sepak takraw or badminton BUT MAKAN dan MINUM.

That is why we have a lot of malaysian especially the young who are having at least one of this so called EMPAT SEKAWAN DISEASES :-

1) High blood pressure

2) Diabetes

3) High Cholesterol

4) Heart Problems

Nowadays,it is not unusual to hear of teenagers who have diabetes and high blood pressure because young people like them like to patronise fast food outlets where the food that is served is unhealthy and fattening which leads to all this sickness.

In order to avoid all this problems,we must discourage our younger generation fron being fascinated by this fast food circus and we must encourage them to exercise frequently in order to ensure that they stay healthy.

If this trend continues, Malaysia will have a lot of problems in the future in that beside having a sick workforce,we have to incur substantial amount of money to treat them. In the end,we will have a lot of economic problems.

We must also discourage our young people FROM SITTING TOO LONG IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER as this will make them lazy to exercise.Together with the food they take while playing the computer,no wonder most of our young people are getting fatter and fatter.

WHY THE GOVT OF MALAYSIA IS BANKRUPT

The Auditor General(AG) Report 2010 concluded that the current national debts of Malaysia is RM 407 BILLIONS which is 53% of the Gross National Product (GDP).

Under the loan and investment Act,the maximum amount of govt debt is 55% of the GDP.In fact every malaysian share of the govt debts is RM 15,074.

The AG report state that the govt have a big deficit in its accounts because the following reasons ;-

1) Wastage

2) Mismanagement

3) Overspending for not doing market research.

All the above reasons are BULLSHIT.The real reasons for all this is CORRUPTION.

The National Space Centre spend RM67.7 Million on Hi-Tech equipment and this equipment is lying in the store with its packing intact.

The National Sports Institute spend RM 5.66 Million on 23 horses without the approval of the ministry and this horses did not qualify for the World Endurance Championship.

The Marine Park Dept spend RM 56250 on a pair of night vision binocular when the market price for it is only RM 1940.

The govt bought 150kg of sugar for RM 25,500 for a price of RM 170 PER KG. I imagine this sugar must have some magic in it.

The way this govt is running the country,we are the GREECE OF ASIA as the amount of debts incurred by this govt have already made us bankrupt.

I just mentioned a few corrupt practices as they are too many to mention as this govt is willing to bankrupt Malaysia in order to MAINTAIN POWER.

Therefore,to overcome this problem and to prevent Malaysia as the GREECE OF ASIA,WE THE RAKYAT MUST CHANGE THE GOVT IN NEXT ELECTION.

Budget 2012 - An Election budget

Today,the PM Najib unveiled the budget for 2012.If you study the budget closely,it shows that a general election is coming soon in Malaysia where the PM is seeking a new mandate for his leadership in Malaysia.

In this budget,they will be a half month bonus for all civil servants together RM500 for all pensioners. In addition,all household with a monthly income below Rm3000 will also received a one off payment oF RM500.

All this goodies point to one thing.That thing is call GENERAL ELECTION. In all fairness,Najib is working hard to gain support for Umno but unfortunately he is the only one working very hard unlike the rest of Umno and BN who are BUSY making BIG money by "RASUAH" the Rakyat money.

Najib is alone working very hard to win back the Rakyat support by giving financial assistance to all races such as giving funding for the construction of Chinese and Tamil schools. He knows that Umno days are numbered and in order to survive,he is giving all this goodies to the rakyat.

Thus,he hope that all his hard work will be translated to votes for Umno and Bn in the coming electio which should be held during the year end school holidays. Unfortunately,his hard work is not supported by his cabinet ministers.

For the 1st time ,I agree with Najib that it is better to give the money to the Rakyat rather than it being "RASUAH" by A CANCER PARTY called UMNO.

QPR - TONY FERNANDES GREATEST MISTAKE.

In 2009,I wrote an article on this blog Entitled Newcastle - ANANDA KRISHNAN GREATEST MISTAKE in which Ananda Krishnan was supposed to takeover Newcastle and this deal was subsequently aborted.

I respect Tony for the way he run Air Asia(AA) and I congratulate him for the success of AA.In fact,I fully supported the way he run AA with its LOW FARES which enable everybody can fly.If I am in a position of power,I would merge AA with MAS and let Tony and his team run the airline company.

I hope Tony together with his AA director Kamaruddin Meranun and Westport Ruben Gnanalingam will succeed in this football venture of buying London football club Queen Park Rangers(QRP).

They further command my respect because immediately after taking over from F1 Bernie for Pound Sterling 35 million,they inject funds to QPR and bought Anton Ferdinand,Shaun Phllips,Armand Troare and Joey Barton to strengthen the team.

I have nothing against Tony and his team but I THINK THEY WILL FAIL in this venture because of the following reasons:-

1). Running a football club is different from running AA or Tune Hotel as the success of a football club depend on the performance of the 11 players in the field.If the 11 players play badly,QPR will be like Blackpool who was demoted after just one season in the premiership.

2). Even with the acquisition of the 4 players mentioned above,they is still insufficient quality and strength in depth in the team to sustain a full season in the premiership.It is likely that QRP will have to fight against RELEGATION towards the end of the season.

3).The wages of the players MAKE UP 70% of the total operation cost of the club. Thus,only Manchester United make profit from operation while the rest of the clubs MAKE LOSSES especially Chelsea and MAN CITY whose PLAYERS WAGES IS MORE THAN ITS ANNUAL REVENUE.Therefore,if this 2 clubs do not have RICH OWNERS,They would have BANKRUPT long ago.

4).No investors have make money from football except for Thailand Thaksin when he sold CITY to Abu Dhabi.Look at the amount of money Roman Abarmovich spend on Chelsea and the amount Al fayed invested and loss in Fulham.

The above is the reasons on why Tony and his team will make its GREATEST MISTAKE and FAIL in London.

I would like to ask the readers of this blog this question. Can you remember the last and final time an English FA Cup Final being carried live by RTM Channel 1 and the commentary of this cup final match is in Bahasa Malaysia?

Yes,that was in 1977 and it was a very long 34 years ago and the commentator for this match is an old timer by the name of Aziz Ibrahim. That cup final match in 1977 at the old Wembley is between Manchester United and Liverpool in which United won 2-1

The first time I met Aziz was at the AGM of Nestle Bhd in which he was the head of Public Relation of Nestle and I am a small shareholder and it was in the early nineties.

On Tuesday 19th July,I went to the office of water service provider Syabas at Jalan Pantai Baru to seek clarification and explanation as to why Syabas charge me Commercial Rate on my water bill when I am staying on the 4th floor of a shophouse. The answer given by Syabas customer service is that they follow the zoning of DBKL which state that any property which is on top of any shophouse is considered as commercial property even though that property is a family house.

When I was looking for a parking space I saw Aziz and called him. The first thing I ask him is what he has been doing since retirement from Nestle and he said that he is in permanent retirement. Immediately,I ask when was the last time he was doing a Bahasa Malaysia commentary in an English FA Cup Final at Wembley?

His answer is 1977, a very very long time ago.

Burma or Myanmar

Today, I will blog about Burma or Myanmar.As all of you know,Burma is under the control of a military govt where the general and his fellow army officers who run the country have only FORM 5 level of education.

I wanted to write this article a long time ago but the inspiration to write on this came when Hongkong actress Michelle Yeoh was BAR from entering Myanmar.The burmese govt bar her because the govt was suspicious that Michelle is giving Money to Aung San Su Chi in order for Su Chi to fund her political activities.

As far as I am concern,the people of Burma are all coward as they do not have the guts to form an army to overthrow the govt.All the burmese have done is to leave Burma and go to Malaysia to work illegally.

The burmese people especially the young future generation is going to suffer for a long time because the present generation is not willing to sacrifice themselves for thr good of the future.

In order to overthrow the govt and secure a better future for the next generation,the present burmese must form an army and must be willing to sacrifice themselves as alot of people will die in a civil war to kick out the present oppressive regime.

Unfortunately,this is not happening as all the burmese are having a good life in Malaysia. In downtown Kuala Lumpur,the Burmese are no longer working for their boss in the Char Kway Teow,Wantan Mee or Laksa stalls but are instead the Boss of all this food stalls as they rent the stalls from the chinese owner.

Thus ,with such good life and having a business,this burmese will not go home to fight the militery govt and Myanmar will be continue to suffer as the military regime is going to rule for a long time.

Today,I would like to talk about Franchise. Franchising is the Practice of using another person firm SUCCESSFUL business model.

Today in Malaysia,they is a lot of successful franchise business and to acquire the franchise from the original owner is not cheap.The franchise business is such that if the business is good ,the payback period for the capital investment could be in 6 months but if the business is bad,the person who took the franchise could lose millions in a few months.

Example of franchise business together with the initial capital investment(ICI) and the monthly royalties which is a percentage of the gross revenue (GR) is as follows:-

Business was so good that the pub ran out of the Starker beer by 11pm and they have to request for the beer from Overtime in Puchong.In fact,the owner who is my friend told me to stop ordering beer in order to allow his other friends and associates who came late to order the beer.

It is estimated that if the business is good and consistent,this pub will BREAK EVEN WITHIN 6 months and after that it is home run all the way.

By the way,most of this franchise outlet is always located in the corner of any place as this business require a big and visible place.

No reason to increase RON 95 PRICE

As we all know ,the govt of Malaysia is BANKRUPT because of MASSIVE CORRUPTION by UMNO and BN.

Currently,we are in a situation where the govt have no more money to pay sudsidy in order keep the prices of petrol low. Come June 1st,after a 6 months rest,the govt will review the price of petrol RON 95 which is currently price at RM1.90 per liter. As such, the govt have been telling the RAKYAT to prepare for an increase in RON 95 price. Recently,the RAKYAT have to bear the price increase of essentials items like sugar and cooking oil.

The govt do not have a good reason to increase the price of RON 95 because of the following reasons :-

1) Malaysia (NOT PETRONAS) is a NET OIL EXPORTER with a DAILY SURPLUS OF 45000 BARREL PER DAY (BPD)

2) Our oil TAPIS is the best quality oil because it have very little sulphur content and it is the MOST EXPENSIVE OIL in the world. We sell our TAPIS to the world but we import Cheap oil from the ARAB world and thus Malaysia profit from this arrangement.

If the price of RON 95 is increase, it will cause an increase in the cost of living for the RAKYAT as transportation cost increase, the transporter will pass the price increase to the consumer to protect their profit margin.

As explained,the govt have NO REASON to increase RON 95 price but it will do so because the govt is BANKRUPT and cannot pay the subsidy to the oil companies like Shell and ESSO.Hence,the RAKYAT is the VICTIM of CORRUPTION by UMNO and BN.

I was watching the news just now and I was very happy when the news reader over at Astro Awani said that Bank Negara Governor DR Zeti was nominated for the post of Chief Executive officer of the Internationa Monetary Fund (IMF).

The CEO position in the IMF is vacant following the resignation of Strauss Kahn who is being charged for sexual assault on a young maid of the SOFITEL Hotel in New York.

Dr Zeti have done a fantastic job in the running of our central bank BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA.As such she deserve to be nominated to the top position of the IMF.

I sincerely hope that if they is a contest for the top IMF post,I hope that Dr Zeti will win and become the 1st asian to helm the IMF.

Congratulations to Dr Zeti and it is the 1st time that the IMF id not control by the West.

SINGAPORE ELECTION

I am watching the Singapore election closely and I hope that the opposition in Singapore will win 15 seats through 3 GRC(group representative constituency) and 2 SMC (single member constituency).

I hope that Workers Party with Low Thia Kiang,Chen Shao Mao and Sylvia Lim will win the Aljuneid GRC and Chiam See Thong SPP (Singapore People Party) will win the Bishan-Tao Payoh GRC seats with Kenneth Jeyaretnam and his gang from the Reform Party to win the West Coast GRC.

As for the SMC,I hope that the opposition will retain the Hougang and Potong Pasir seat which was formerly held by Low and Chiam respectively.I hope that Chiam wife will win his seat of Potong Pasir.

To all the opposition parties in this Singapore election,GOOD LUCK AND SUCCESS.

RAJA PETRA (RPK) - SOLDIER OF FORTUNE

I do not know RPK well but I have only met him twice that is at the KL High Court and at a function at BLOG HOUSE.I went to the high court to show my support for him and I also made a small donation of RM100 to him to help to pay for his legal fees.

I must express my greatest appreciation to RPK for his great contribution in changing the political landscape in Malaysia by exposing the corruption of Umno and BN and raising the political awareness of the ordinary people as to their right in demanding a good and transparent government.

I must admit that BN lost its 2/3 majority in Parliament in March 2008 mainly because of bloggers like RPK who through his blog Malaysia Today have exposed the corruption of Umno and BN and made the RAKYAT to vote for PAKATAN RAKYAT.

I am a regular visitor to his blog Malaysia Today since the beginning of 2007 and My observation is that RPK is a SOLDIER OF FORTUNE or a " CARI MAKAN " blogger who will work and blog only to benefit his paymaster. I do not blame him for being a Soldier of fortune as every person have to make money to survive and it is his democratic right to do so.

After reading about what RPK had said in an interview with TV3, unlike many of my friends who were very sad and angry, I was not disappointed or surprise by the action of RPK as I expected something like this to come from him after observing his blog for so many years.

I also believed that RPK current new paymaster is the number 1 man in Malaysia.

I said that PRK is a soldier of fortune because of the following observations I have over the years I have been following his blog :-

Firstly, in 2007 and before March 2008, the agenda of Malaysia Today is to attack Pak Lah because at that time RPK was under the payroll of old man DR M. As we all know ,Pak Lah cancelled many Dr M projects like the crooked Bridge between Johor and Singapore. This incident make old man M very angry and old man decided to get rid of Pak Lah as PM. In order to do that,old man must attack Pak Lah and the best person to do this is RPK. So,old man hired RPK to do the job. It was confirmed by a few bloggers through their blog that PRK indeed work for old man M.

It is believed that PRK parted company with old man M in the second quarter of 2008 and subsequently he was hired by KJ to protect Pak Lah.Immediately, the agenda of Malaysia Today changes from attacking Pak Lah to attacking Najib by massive blogging of the ALTANTUYA case. In 2008 Pak Lah position was very shaky and the only person who can dislodge Pak Lah is Najib. When Pak Lah was the PM, the unofficial PM in the 4th floor is KJ. In order to protect their positions in Putrajaya, KJ and KALI of NST hired RPK to attack Najib. As we all know, their plan failed and RPK went into exile in London and his stay there is financed by KALI.

The latest news is that RPK is denying what he had said previously on the Altantuya case and my believed is that he is NOW being hired by the Top Man and his job is to attack Anwar as Anwar is the only person who can take over Najib place as PM of Malaysia. As the next GE is coming soon,the TOP MAN is politically right to hire RPK to attack Anwar.

I would not be surprised if PRK return to Malaysia before the next GE as a free man and driving his Roll Royce around Sugei Buloh.

I salute Minister in the PM Office Nazri Aziz for challenging malay rights group Perkasa to send its president "The Kaki Lompat" Ibrahim Ali to contest against Nazri for the parliament seat of Padang Rengas.

Nazri is spot on when he said that Perkasa should sent its leader to contest in the next GE and the group could do what they wanted if it managed to get the people mandate and win big in the next GE.

But the problem is that Perkasa is a RACIST group which some malays like Nazri does not support its stand. It does NOT command the support of most malays.

For by-election, BN have won Galas,Batu Sapi and Tenang. It was reported that BN won because the Malays Voters who deserted Umno and BN in the 2008 general election have returned to support them.

In the 2008 GE, I know of a friend who is an Umno member,who together with his group of friends who are also Umno members did not vote and boycotted the GE. After Pak Lah was removed as PM by the Umno supreme council and appointed Najib as Umno president, this group of Umno Malays voters have returned and support the party.

As for malays who are not Umno members but who voted for the opposition in the last GE. Currently Umno have not reach out to them. I recently spoke to a Bumiputera businessman friend and he told me that Umno have not reach out to him and his friends. Under the circumstances,it will be difficult for him and his friends to vote for BN in the next GE.So far they have been in business,Umno did not offer any assisitance and have not reach out to them.

From the above,it can be confirmed that Umno have not recover the entire Malay ground it lost in the last GE. On the other hand,it have only recovered the votes of its members who did not come out to vote. A good indication of the level of support of the malays for UmnO and BN will be the by election for the state seat of PORT KELANG which will be held in March 2011.

1) Share Market Manipulation.

2) Insider Trading

3) Artificially inflating the Revenue and Profit of the company by issuing FALSE INVOICES.

4) Illegally Taking Deposits.

Previously,the Court only FINED the guilty party. After a lot of investors criticism of the recent case where Lybrand Ngu was fined RM 1.2 Million for issuing many miliions of FALSE INVOICES, the court have decided that CUSTODIAL SENTENCE MUST BE APPLIED in order to prevent the occurrence of all the offences listed above. This is because all the offenders are MILLIONAIRES who can easily pay off the fined and fining them is not a deterence.

The first person to face the new ruling is Raja Asma who was Jailed for 5 years for iLLEGALLY Taking Deposit.

The second case for this Custodial ruling is when Philip Wong was sentence to 2 years and Francis Bun 3 months in Jail for market manipulation.

One of the best run state agency in Malaysia is Johor Corporation whose executive chairman is MOhd Ali Hashim.

Under Ali, Johor Corp have expanded well with the acquisition of KFC,PIZZA HUT, QSR and Damansara Realty. Beside this,he also bulid up oil palm giant Kulim Bhd and Kumpulan Perubatan Johor (KPJ) which have Ampang Puteri and Tawakal hospitals in its stable.

All the above companies are making good profits every year especially KFC which is a CASH RICH and PROFITABLE company.

In October 2010, during a board meeting,ALI resign immediately on a 24 hour notice because he does not see eye to eye with Johor MB Ghani Othman who is the chairman of Johor Corp. Ghani contention is that Johor Corp debts of RM 6 Billion is too much but Ali contention is that Johor Corp have good assets worth RM 12 Billion to cover the debts.

In my opinion, it is not an issue if a company take on debts to acquire cash rich profitable companies like KFC especially when KULIM BHD is able to service the loan due to good oil palm prices.

The main problem is no the debts but with UMNO NOT BEING ABLE TO TOUCH THE MONEY IN JOHOR CORP AS LONG AS ALI IS AROUND.

Since the days of DR M, UMNO DOES NOT LIKE GOOD,COMPETENT and NO NONSENSE professional managers like ALI and HASSAN MERICAN who does not allow politicians from UMNO in meddling with the business affairs of Johor Corp and PETRONAS.

Therefore, the only way for UMNO to TOUCH THE CASH of KFC and PETRONAS is to REMOVE ALI and HASSAN who does not get along with PM Najib.

If you compare Johor Corp and Petronas with Khazanah Nasional,ALI and HASSAN will beat AMOKH hands down.Just look at the debts of Khazanah which borrow money to buy unprofitable companies.

That is why the country is going downwards as GOOD people are REMOVE not for business but for political reasons. Hassan is currently working for SINGAPORE SEMBAWANG.

As for ALI,WELL DONE and have a deserving peaceful life.

The latest happy news in town is that Dr GIGI is charged with LAND FRAUD by the MACC in the Shah Alam Magistrate Court.

Please do not celebrate as this could be a WAYANG KULIT by the govt because THE GENERAL ELECTION is coming soon. As Parties in the Pakatan Rakyat Group is fighting among themselves, it is a good time for BN to call for a GE.

Unless Dr GIGI is proven guilty in court,we cannot celebrate like what happen to Eric Chia and Kasitah Gaddam where in the end both was set free by the court.It would not be a surprised to me if DR GIGI trial is for SHOW ONLY and in the end DR GIGI has NO CASE TO ANSWER.

As we all know .we cannot trust the MACC and the AG given their track record,but my trust in both this agencies will improve if they can CONVICT DR GIGI AND SENT HIM TO JAIL AND CREATE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF HIM.

I will also not surprise if Char Koay teow Ling Liong Sik is set free by the court.

In the meantime,we just wait for the BIG DECISION DAY.

In March 2009, i wrote a posting on Lee Chong Wei becoming the best badminton player in the world.

In my opinion, for Lee Chong Wei to become the best player in the world, he must beat China Lin Dan in Beijing or Shanghai or Guangzhou. So far, he have failed.

His performance in the final against Lin Dan is encouraging, considering that his wrist was injured. Even though he lost, his performance was better than the final of the olympic games in Beijing. In this asian games,he managed to take a set from Lin Dan even though he lost in the final.

Hopefully,this lost will spur him to train harder and beat Lin Dan to BECOME THE FIRST MALAYSIAN OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL WINNER AT THE 2012 London Olympic.

Amazing Race Asia 4

Today, I get away from politics and economy and turn to something light like The Amazing Race Asia 4 which is currently showing on AXN , Astro Channel 701.

I have just finished watching the Amazing Race Asia 4 and I am very sad that the Malaysian team of Ethan and Khairi is eliminated from the race. This pair of young man is a very good team with little weaknesses but made a BAD MISTAKE during a DETOUR in Bali when after choosing to carry a basket of vegetables on top of their head,they change their mind and carry out another task that is to find a chinese name written on a chinese tombstone in a cemetery. Finding the right tomdstone among the thousands in a cemetery is a very difficult task as what I have personally experience.Mant years ago during CHENG BENG or ALL SOULS DAY, I and my father was looking for the grave of a relative who passed away and buried at the Kwangtung Cemetery in Cheras.It was a difficult search and after a few hours,we gave up.I think Ethan do not have this experience or else he would not have choose this task.

After spending a lot of time and unable to find the name,they change their task to carry a baskets of vegetables.This caused them to lose a lot of precious time and in the end the phillipines duo was able to overtake them.

Over the years,Malaysian teams competing in the amazing race has performed very well especially Ter Joo Jer and Sabrina Fernandez who was the winner of the first amazing race.The Chong sisters came in second in the secong race with Ida and Tania came in third in the third race.

Hopefully,in the 5th race,a malaysian team will emerge as CHAMPION.

MALAYSIA - PROPERTY BUST.

Recently,Bank Negara imposed the loan to value ratio in which those who purchase a THIRD PROPERTY will only be entitled to borrow 70% of the value of the property.

In my opinion,Bank Negara is wasting its time and effort in implementing this ruling as it does not help to COOL the local property market. In order to avoid a collapse of the property market, Bank Negara should imposed a loan to value ratio of 75% on the purchase of a SECOND property in which bank can only finance 75% OF THE VALUE OF THE PROPERTY FOR THOSE WHO BUY A second PROPERTY.

Thus,this ruling will not penalise the FIRST TIME BUYER and it will cool down the current hot property market to AVOID A SUB-PRIME in Malaysia.

I have a property developer friend who is selling 3 blocks of Studio Apartment totalling 1080 units of 650 sg ft for RM 360,000 each in Jln Kelang Lama.Even without Launching, SEMUA HABIS DI JUAL,all the 1080 units fully sold .

His marketing strategy is that the purchaser only pay RM 5000 on booking. On signing of the S & P agreement, the purchaser need not pay the 10% as required as he is given a 10% DISCOUNT and the balance 90% is finance by the bank and all the legal chargers,stamp duty and other expenses are covered by the developer. The purchaser will start paying the bank when he or she receive the keys to the apartment. The RM 5000 will be use to pay for utilities deposit like water and electricity.

All the purchaser needed is to come up with RM 5000 and this encourage a lot speculators for this property and when the apartment is completed,the value will go up and they will be a lot of speculators ready to SELL for a profit

They are a lot projects in the Klang Valley which is selling like hotcakes and this is due the speculators who are able to get cheap and easy financing from the banks.As the bank have a lot of liquidity,they just lend to cover their interest cost and if Bank Negara is not tough in using its monetary policy to control this HOT property market,Malaysia will face a sub prime mortgage problem like the US.

I have just finished watching the documentary about SUPERMOKH Mokhtar Dahari who is the GREATEST AND BEST STRIKER MALAYSIA have ever produced. As a former official of Hong Chin FC,this documentary brought back a lot of memories .Mokhtar started his career with Darul Afiah,a division one team while we were playing in the Selangor Premier League (SPL). At that time ,we try to recruit him but he was employed by PKNS who was playing in the Selangor Govt Dept and Business House (GDBH) league. Subsequently,the management of PKNS decided to put a team in the SPL and they recruited Arumugam,Santokh and Reduan Abdullah from us. As Hong Chin is a private club with little financial resources,we have to let REDOO go to PKNS on a free transfer as he was given a job as a clerk by PKNS. Subsequently, after winning many trophies with PKNS,Mokhtar took up the position of sports coordinator with Kwong Yik Bank (KYB) and became the team football coach when the bank management decided to put a team in the Selangor Dunhill League. The saddest thing I have for Mokhtar is that He did not play in the then English First Division for teams like MU, Liverpool or Arsenal.I believed he would be more successful than Park Ji Sung if he play in England as he has the physique,toughness in taking knocks,the athletic ability to run and dribble plus the POWERFUL SHOT that score GOALS. Until today,I believed that it is a waste that he did not play in England. Together with Isa Bakar,Supermokh was the most fear strikers at that time in Asia. It is with great sadness that after so many years he had passed away,Malaysia have not produced another striker like him. That is why our ranking by FIFA is very low. For the 1st time in the history of Malaysia that a TUN have been charged in court for cheating.The MACC and AG today charge Ling Liong Sik for cheating the cabinet on the purchase of the land where PKFZ was built. Please do not celebrate as it is a charged only and until it is proven and he is convicted,then we should celebrate as it is the 1st time a BIG SHOT is being convicted.

It would not surprise me if this charged is for SHOW ONLY AND HE IS SUBSEQUENTLY FOUND NOT GUILTY. Remember Eric Chia PERWAJA case where Eric was found to be INNOCENT despite billions missing from the bank account of Perwaja.

Mr Samy Corrupt is very happy now because he have prove a lot of people WRONG by hanging to the MIC top post which resulted in him not being charge of any wrongdoing despite rejecting the title TUN. Hopefully, the MACC will go after Samy and the DR GIGI TOYO after charging Ling.

The picture of me was taken when I was speaking at the forum on Reduction of Subsidy organised by Pemandu at the KLCC Convention Center. I told them to read my blog to know what I have said at the forum and the first question they asked me is whether I am afraid of the Internal Security Act (ISA) ? In fact ,this is also the first question that was put to me when I started this blog. I want to stress that from the first day that I started this blog, I have never worry about the ISA and I will give my opinion on any subject base on FACTS AND FIGURES TOGETHER WITH SOUND REASONING even though this opinion will criticise the govt of BN and PAKATAN RAKYAT. We must make known our opinion to the govt BN and Pakatan Rakyat on any subject so that we will be able to keep them at their toes in carrying out their duties. I would suggest that a REFERENDUM be held to let the RAKYAT decide whether the govt should reduce the subsidies.

I told the forum that we must look the the big picture and what causes the govt to have a BIG HOLE in its Budget and Finances. I told the forum of over 2000 people that THE GOVT of MALAYSIA IS BANKRUPT because of corruption. This shows that the voters in Sarawak especially SIBU is FED UP with the administration of the TAIB MAHMUD who is the RICHEST MAN in MALAYSIA. This is the tip of the iceberg of many of such deals and this deal was done without the knowledged of PETRONAS just before he retired as PM. In all fairness,in the eighties, TUN M WANTED TO SELL LIMBANG TO BRUNEI but HE STOPPED after being EXPOSED by the Far Eastern Economic Review. I would like to congratulate the Melbourne Police for arresting F1 driver Lewis Hamilton for speeding and dangerous driving in the street of Melbourne.Hamilton did a double spin in his silver mercedes and immediately speed the car on the street of Melbourne. This will endanger the life of Melbourne families as well as visitors and foreign students studying in Melbourne. The police van did a magnificient job in pulling Hamilton over to the side of the road and immediately impounded the Mercedes for 48 hours beside arresting him. It shows that in Australia,IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO YOU ARE or WHERE YOU COME FROM,when you break the law,you have to face the full force of the law just like anyone else. I am a fan and always enjoy watching figure skating especially in the winter olympics. Currently, the winter olympics is ongoing in Vancouver Canada.Tuesday will be the day the ladies perform their short program and thursday for their free program. My support goes to canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette who will take part in the olympic even though her mother has just passed away because of heart attack in Vancouver.Her family is from Montreal and her parents travel to Vancouver to support her to get the gold medal.Unfortunately, tragedy struck her mother but she will take part in the memory of her mother. I will take this opportunity to wish her Best of luck and I will be cheering for her to win the gold medal in the memory of her mother.

Yesterday was a sad in the KLCC area as it is the last day in office for Petronas CEO Hassan Merican. Mainstream media reported some of the Petronas staff cried. It is always my belief that CREDIT must be given when it is due especially when a person have done a great service to the country and his services is not appreciated by the PM. After completing my HSC in St.Johns Institution in 1980,I was offer a job as an audit clerk in June 1981 by the accounting firm of Hanafiah,Raslan and Mohamad (HRM). The person who offered me the job is none than Hassan Merican who at that time was the staff partner of the audit firm based at 7th Floor Bangkok Bank Buliding.

I will also express my greatest appreciation to the late Tan Sri Basil Ismail who is the person responsible for recruiting Hassan into Petronas.In 1984, Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad(BBMB)was badly hit by the Bumiputra Malaysia Finance (BMF) scandal due to corruption by its directors and certain of Malaysia top politicians at that time. In order to keep BBMB afloat,Petronas money was pumped in and Tan Sri Basil who was then the chairman of Petronas was installed as chairman of BBMB. As HRM was the external auditor for BBMB, the partner in charge was Hassan Merican.Both of them was instructed by the then PM Tun Dr Mahathir to clean up the mess in BBMB.After completing the job in BBMB, Hassan took up Basil offered to become Vice President Financial Services of Petronas and the rest as they said is history.

I would like to take this opportuinity to say " TERIMA KASIH " to Hassan Merican for the following reasons:-

Firstly, for giving me a job. I was young and inexperience then but I have learned and gain a lot of experience during my 5 years at HRM.

Secondly,For making Petronas the only FORTUNE 500 COMPANY in Malaysia.

Thirdly,for making Petronas as a company that break record profit year after year. Petronas currently sponsor 45% of Malaysia govt budget and The bonds issued by Petronas is currently rated higher than the bonds issued by the govt of Malaysia in the international financial market.

Lastly, for being a "NO MAN" unlike Amokh in Khazanah who is a "YES MAN" to the PM. Thanks for being brave to say NO to the UMNO politicians.Thus,it make Petronas a great company.

Currently,the only worry is whether Petronas will become another PERTAMINA especially when the new Chairman and CEO is known to BE A YES MAN.I hope that Hassan will DECLINE Najib offer to be the PM oil and gas adviser.

4 MAIN REASONS why HASSAN CONTRACT NOT RENEWED.

As it is widely known,PM Najib did not renewed the contract of Hassan Merican as CEO and Chairman of Petronas. They are 4 main reasons for it and it is as follows:-

Firstly, Hassan is NO "YES MAN". He is very independent in making decisions for the good of Petronas and he does not take any NONSENSE from politicians especially those from UMNO. For this he DOES NOT SEE EYE TO EYE with Najib and he has step on the toes of many Umno politicians. Because of his independence Petronas have become the only Fortune 500 company from Malaysia. The ONLY THING PAK LAH DID CORRECTLY during his time as PM is to leave Hassan and Petronas ALONE.

Secondly,Hassan objected Najib nomination of Omar Ong as a director of Petronas because Omar Ong defaulted on a study loan from Petronas. As Petronas come under the PM Dept,the PM have the final say and Omar Ong was appointed as a director.

Thirdly, Hassan made one of the best commercial decision for Petronas by sponsoring Mercedes F1 team instead of Tony Fernandes Lotus F1 team which have the backing of Najib. This sponsorship into a championship winning team was enhanced when Michael Shumacher signed for Mercedes.Furthermore,Mercedes will use Petronas Syntium lubricants for all mercedes cars in India,Turkey and China.It will not be surprising if Mercedes and Shumacher win the 2010 F1 championship with the racing package it has. It is also not surprising to see Lotus not winning and close shop after the 2010 F1 season due to financial difficulties as Lotus was expecting sponsorship from Petronas of US 85 Million to finance their F1 season.

Fourthly, as long as Hassan is in Petronas,he is an obstacles and a hindrance to Najib when Najib make decisions and policy in Petronas base on political consideration to consolidate his power.

Finally ,it is sad that a CEO who did a fantastic job is given the boot whereas a CEO who lost Billions of public money through Khazanah Nasional was given a new 3 year contract. Currently, the govt is on the verge of Bankrupt and Petronas being the richest malaysian company that contribute BILLIONS ANNUALLY (40 percent of govt revenue) to the govt cannot afford to lose this great CEO. In the end, IT IS MALAYSIA LOST BUT NAJIB GAIN.

The latest new in the market is that Hassan Merican (who did a fantastic job) position as Chairman and CEO of Petronas which expire in February will NOT BE RENEWED. It is well known that Hassan does not see eye to eye with PM Najib who is trying to put his men into the board of directors of Petronas. When Najib nominate his crony Omar Ong as a director of Petronas,he received fierce resistant from Hassan who rejected Omar Ong nomination.This make Najib angry and he forced Hassan and the board of Petronas to accept Omar Ong as a director of Petronas. As Petronas is under the control of the PM dept,Hassan and the board have no choice but to agree to the PM order. As a chartered accountant, Hassan is known to be independent in making decision for the good of Petronas and thus,he have step on the toes of many BN politicians especially those from UMNO. Hassan made a good and brave decision in SPONSORING Mercedes in F1 instead of Lotus F1 and this make Najib good johannian friend Tony Fernandes very angry. As Hassan will be a HINDRANCE to Najib in Petronas,it is not surprising that his contract is not renewed. It is also rumoured that Hassan will join Anandan Krishnan as a director in Maxis and Binariang.

Readers of the blog know that I do not blog on matters relating to religion.But today I am going to blog about the GREAT FINANCIAL TROUBLE of CALVARY - The RICHEST Church in Malaysia.

I first came across about Calvary Church in 1985 when I read the financial accounts of the church for 1984. The first item that catches my eye was in the balance sheet and it shows that the church have RM 500K in FIXED DEPOSIT at that time. It does not surprise me in 2004 when a customer of mine who is the church member told me that CALVARY CHURCH bought a piece of land which is beside the Bukit Jalil Golf Club from Berjaya for RM 25 Million.It also does not surprise me that the church will bulit a RM 100 Million convention center as I always believe that the church will be able to honour its obligations. I am a golfer and I always go to Bukit Jalil driving range which is directly beside the land under construction of the Calvary Convention Center.Surprisingly, in April this year construction work at the site stop for the second time as a result of no payment to the main contractor Nam Fatt. I did some checking and found out that the first stoppage is due to technical matters but the second and current stoppage is due to the inability of the church to pay the main contractor Nam Fatt. The church is having financial problems due to mismanagement of funds by the top management of the church.A police report was lodged this year on the mismanagement of funds and the members are demanding for accountability and transparency over the use of church funds from the church Board of Deacons. Unless the church is able to raise funds,it will not be able to complete the construction of the convention center as the cost have escalate by RM 50 Million to RM 150 Million because of increase in material and other construction costs even though this project is schedule to complete in October 2009. Currently, the project is only 55% completed. In this difficult economic environment with a weak stock market and many members quitting the church,it will be a huge task for CALVARY to raise the necessary funds to complete the convention center.It was also alleged by the group of members calling themselves the Truth,Transparency and Good Governance Group that substantial church funds was transferred to the personal accounts of a top church official. A deacon of 11 years Dr Lum was sacked in Nov 2008 for speaking out against the Board of Deacons on how the church funds are managed.

The problems of the Church is small compared to the financial problems of the govt of Malaysia which is on the verge of BANKRUPT as result of massive corruption.

ABOLISHED NATIONAL SERVICE (NS) and 1 MALAYSIA CAMP

The bridge at Kuala Dipang near Kampar was bulid with inferior materials which causes the bridge to collapse and resulted in a schoolgirl being drown and 2 of her friends missing. The DEAD of this youngsters is the result of the decision of UMNO,BN and Certain Govt SERVANTS who are "KAKI RASUAH YANG BUAT KERJA TIPU". To PM Najib,if you are for 1 MALAYSIA CONCEPT,STOP the NATIONAL SERVICE and 1 MALAYSIA CAMP NOW.

The cantonese have a saying "I CHAI TOH KAI" which literally means people who are short (SHORTIES or PENDEK) have a lot tricks in their bag. This is a story in the early eighties about 2 Rich and Powerful shorties who are "SIFU" or MASTERS in business and politics and ONE of them try to outsmart the OTHER. This story was told to me by an uncle who worked for one of them who we shall called K as he is from a Northern State and a former 2 time Finance Minister. At the time of happening he was a developer who is based at Taman Maluri,Cheras. The other we shall called N as he is from a Southern State and was a long time former Mentri Besar(MB) of that state.Currently, he is trying to make a political comeback. At that time,K was looking for a piece of land by the seaside in order to built a holiday resort.Upon hearing it,N contacted K to inform him of a piece of land in Port Dickson which is a fantastic place to bulit a resort. Unfortunately,this piece of beach front land have a lot of problems such as zoning issue,ancestrial and historical issues together with other residential and local authorities issues. As a developer, K knows that it is impossible to overcome all these problems and was not interested at all. However, N being a "SIFU" was able to convince K (another SIFU) that that being the MB, he will be able to overcome all these problems. Thus,K gave a sum of money to N to buy the piece of land and as we all know they is no documentation involved in this payment. After a few months, N was unable to solve the problems on the land and was unable to deliver the land title to K. K demand for a REFUND. Despite numerous reminder and personal visit, N was dragging his feet to repay the amount. This lasted a few years with K have already written off the amount. But,lucky stars smile on K when he was appointed as Finance Minister by Dr M. Immediately,N refund the money because the finance ministry control the allocation of funds to his state . Therefore,we must be very careful when we are in a business dealing with SHORTIES and the above story is a good example.

Our national football team is very lucky that Muhiyuddin and Zahid Hamidi is not part of the team. This is because both of them is good at only one thing that is to score " OWN GOAL". The decision by both of them to select Rohaizat Othman as the BN candidate for the state seat of Permatang Pasir is akin to scoring an OWN GOAL by UMNO. This is due to the fact that Rohaizat was disbarred as an advocate and solicitors by the Bar Council for not returning Rm 161,000 belonging to Koperasi Pekebun Kecil Getah Pulau Pinang. He was struck off from the Roll of Advocate and Solicitors by the Bar Council on 7th March 2008 after the Disciplinary Board found him guilty of using his client money. He appeal against the decision of the DB to the High Court but his appeal was dismissed on 12th August 2009.This shows he is not a trustworthy person and NOT FIT to be a WAKIL RAKYAT who must be a man of integrity. Immediately after the nomination closed,Umno have score an OWN GOAL as their candidate is not a man of good integrity with good trustworthy values. To educate the Netizens about the danger of child phonography, I suggest that the govt set up an agency call the Malaysian Parents Against Phonography Agency. This agency will be under the communication ministry which will provide a budget for this agency which will be headed by a senior civil servant. The objective of this agency is to create awareness on the danger of child phonography on the Net. This is where the agency carry out promotion to inform the Rakyat on the danger of child phonography.The agency will also make available software and programs to help parents to create a firewall in their home computer against child phonography. It will also encourage employers to create the firewall in the office computer against child phonography. The best civil servant to head this agency will be current MACC chief Ahmad Said. Since he has failed in his duties as MACC chief and to protect himself and his family from death threats,I would suggest to the govt to transfer Ahmad Said from MACC to this agency.He will be good in this new role as his son was a victim of child phonography. Last year,his son was caught and convicted in Adelaide,Australia of child phonography when the Australian authorities found child phonography photo in his laptop that he was carrying.His son work for MAS and is marreid with a young family. With Ahmad Said heading this agency,I am very confident that the incident of child phonography in Malaysia will be reduced drastically.

In addition, he will take responsible for the club bank overdraft of 40 Million Pounds. Beside paying for the shares and taking over the liabilities of the club, Ananda have to pump in funds for the club to buy players to strengthen the team in order to help Newcastle to promote to the Premier League. I have a lot of respect for Ananda for the successes that he have achieved in Malaysia but I strongly belief that he will FAIL in this venture of returning GLORY to St James Park because of the following reasons:- Firstly, running a football club is different from running businesses like Maxis, Astro or Pan Malaysian Pool as the success of the club depended mainly on the 11 players in the football field. Even the Billions he has will not be sufficient if the 11 players on the field perform badly which will result in Newcastle not gaining promotion to the premiership.Remember Sir Jack Hayward ,despite investing millions in WOLVES,Wolverhampton Wanderers did not gain promotion during his time which is the same as Nigel Pickering who spend millions in Derby County without success in the English Championship which equivalent to division 2 under the old system.Just look at Harrods Al - Fayed,who have invested a least 1 Billion Pounds in Fulham and after so many years, Fulham have not won the premiership but every year have been fighting against relegation except for 2008/09 season. Secondly,if you look at the Newcastle squad,they is no quality in the team except for Damien Duff.The rest of the team memebers are just ordinary players and this bunch will not be able to carry the team to the premiership. Thirdly, most the teams members are not committed players except for Butt,Martins,Bassong,Duff,Harper,Beye and the 2 Taylors.With the majority of the team members are not committed,this spell disaster. Fourthly,all the players are on High Premiership Wages. With Newcastle in the Championship,the revenue from TV ,Sponsorship and tickets collection will be reduced and this will not be able to cover the wage bill of the players.This is financially disturbing. The latest news is that Petronas Chairman and CEO Hassan will be replaced by the CEO of FELDA. This is due to the fact that he does not see eye to eye with PM Najib on the rejection of Omar Ong to become a director of Petronas. As Petronas is directly under the PM dept, Najib can decide who should be Chairman and CEO of Petronas. It is rumour that Hassan contract with Petronas which expire in February 2010 will not be renewed and this pave the way for Syed Hamid to become Chairman and the Felda CEO to be CEO of Petronas. Hassan joined Petronas in the eighties as Vice President Finance on the insistence of Tan Sri Basir who was Chairman of Petronas and Bank Bumiputra. From there,he rose to his current position and he collaborated well with late Tan Sri Azizan and together they bulit up Petronas to become a Fortune 500 company. The only thing PAK LAH, THE WORST PM of Malaysia DID CORRECTLY during his time as PM was to leave Petronas alone and with the fantastic result Petronas is producing,it would be advisable for Najib to do the same thing. Given the politics in Malaysia, it would not be a surprise if Najib give Hassan a RED CARD before February 2010.

LOT 10,STARHILL & PAVILION HAVING BAD TIME

Yesterday,I went to Bukit Bintang to celebrate the birthday of my sister Choo Sooi Har. It has been a few months since my last visit there. At 7 in the evening, I went to LOT 10, to my surprise,they were very few shoppers out there especially during this supposedly peak hours. Next ,I visited Starhill, as usual there is very few shoppers which is of no surprise as this dept store sell very expensive items. From there, I went to Pavilion,the crowd was moderate but my observation at 7.30 p.m. shows that most people are window shopping. At Bintang Walk,3 or 4 food and beverages outlet have been closed for sometime. Even the restaurant which we celebrate my sis birthday party at Level 6 of the Pavilion is having a tough time because our party was the only customer of the food outlet on a Sunday Evening. After dinner at 10p.m. I walk to Bukit Bintang Plaza,the food outlet outside BB plaza was crowded and business there was good. So,there is the two side of Bukit Bintang that I found out and I can safely conclude that Lot 10, Starhill and Pavilion is having a tough time during this RECESSION which I confirmed to all the readers of this blog on my posting on 13th November 2008.

I thought Jean Todt volunteer himself for FREE as tourism ambassador of Malaysia but I was DEAD WRONG. I was thinking that for all the kind hospitalities Malaysia have given to him, in return he help to promote Malaysia overseas for free. According to PKR Azmin Ali, tourism Malaysia paid RM 981,400 on expenses incurred by Jean Todt as tourism ambassador. As far as I know,I have not seen any kind of tourism promotion carry out by Todt to promote the country in Malaysia.If his terms of engagement is to carry out promotion in Malaysia to help the tourism industry,he did not carry out his duties and this is tantamount to BUTA GAJI as a result of being paid for doing nothing. I urge our PM Najib to investigate the claim made by Azmin and to carry out the necessary remedial action. All this happened when a LESBIAN was the tourism Minister. I also urge Najib to investigate the sponsorship by the Ministry of Sports for the ASTRO Sports Center Program which started during the time when the above lesbian was the sports minister. I also urge Najib to investigate whether Jean Todt receive FREE LAND in Pulau Besar from Trengganu when Pak Lah was PM. I am very disappointed as I belief Jean Todt is a very ungrateful to all malaysian who have given him the hospitalities that we are known for.

The latest news from Rocky is that Petronas has rejected Omar Ong to be a director in defiant to the directive from PM Najib. This shows that the board of directors of Petronas which is made up of professionals does not want any politicians or their crony to interfere in the day to day running of the national oil company.SYABAS to the directors of Petronas for taking this stand as it is under the control of the PM dept and defying the directive of the PM shows the independent stand of the board. To the board,keep up the good work as you all have make Petronas a company that malaysians are proud of. Thus, Petronas will be able to keep out vultures like Rembau or other politicians who has been eyeing our national oil company. I read BIG DOG article on Omar Ong being a director of Petronas.In fact,a lot of people especially politicians from UMNO has been eyeing for a seat in the board of directors of Petronas. During the time Pak Lah was PM, Rembau has been eyeing to kick out CEO Hassan Merican so that he can put his own people up there in order to control Petronas.Remember the CEO of Malaysia Che Khaleb who lost RM 900M for TNB also want to be the CEO of Petronas. The problem is that a lot of malaysians think that a degree from Oxford or Cambridge will automatically qualify them to be a director of Petronas.You need more than a degree from Oxford and Cambridge in order to be a director of the richest company in Malaysia.I have been involved in the local corporate scene since 1981 when I started work with the accounting firm of Hanafiah ,Raslan & Mohamad (HRM) and i have never come across Omar or Rembau achieving great things by themselves such as bringing up a small company to become a giant or turnaround a bad listed company. Until both of you fulfill the above two achievement,you will not get my respect and certainly you are not Petronas director material.

I would like to urge the Sultan of Perak to do the rightful thing in dissolving the Perak State Assembly and let the RAKYAT decide ONCE AND FOR ALL who should rule the state of PERAK. Following this morning HIGH COURT decision and declaration that Zambery was not the legitimate Mentri Besar,Nizar is now the Mentri Besar.The latest news is that on Tuesday ,BN will be proposing a motion of NO CONFIDENT against Nizar as Mentri Besar of Perak.Hence ,this Perak political drama will not end soon as both side is taking court and other action against each other. At it is ,they are 2 govts in the state with no view to a conclusion. A lot of govt time and money was spend in this fight and with the current economic crisis,the Rakyat is tired and angry with the politicians for this long fight with no end. Therefore,it is the duty of HIS HIGHNESS THE SULTAN of PERAK to DISSOLVE the PERAK STATE ASSEMBLY and give the mandate back to the RAKYAT and let the RAKYAT decide ONCE AND FOR ALL who should RULE PERAK in order to stop the fighting between BN and PAKATAN RAKYAT. Early this morning I watched Barcelona and Chelsea played a goalless draw at the Nou Camp. The way Guus Hinddink put his line up shows that he is playing for a Draw so that Chelsea will have home ground advantage in the 2nd leg at Stamford Bridge next wednesday. After today goalless draw,it is only halftime for both teams. When Hinddink put Mikel and Esceinn ,it shows that he is playing a defensive system with the intention of shutting out his opponents especially when Chelsea played with 10 defenders with only Drogba upfront.Thus,they play according to instruction and effectively shut out Barcelona. In the 2nd leg,it will be a different story as Chelsea will attacking minded to win the game.In this way,their defence will be loose and this is where Barcelona can take advantage and score an away goal just like what Liverpool did two weeks ago. I do not agree to the view that Chelsea is having an advantage as they did not score an away goal. I strongly belief Chelsea will attack in the 2nd leg and thus they will leave gaps at the back which the strike force of Barca should take advantage. The final score is Chelsea 0 Barcelona 1 .

As predicted Pakatan Rakyat won 2 - 1 in tuesday 3 by election in which Pas Nizar won in Bukit Gantang and PKR won in Bukit Selambau but BN won in Batang Ai in Sarawak. The win by Nizar shows that the people is behind the former Mentri Besar and the voters inPerak is not supporting The Sultan of Perak. Therefore,the Sultan should do the rightful thing in dissolving the Perak State Assembly and call for a new state by election in Perak. Thus,the mandate should be handed back to the rakyat who will determine who would be the next State Govt of Perak. The results also shows that the Rakyat is still distrust of the govt even though Pak Lah has left and Najib became the new prime minister of Malaysia. Tomorrow,Najib will name his cabinet and in order to win back the support of the people for BN ,He should not appoint people who are known to be corrupted in his cabinet.Therefore,it is hope that Najib will name many new faces to this cabinet and govt the country in the correct manner.

PR will lose in Sarawak because they have less money than BN who is finance by the RICHEST MAN in Malaysia. This man nickname is BEH MOH which means WHITE HAIR and he is the longest serving chief minister in the country. His personal wealth is HUGE and with this WAR CHEST he will be able to buy over all the voters in Batang Ai. Therefore,for BN to win Batang Ai is not a problem. Sorry for not blogging for 3 weeks as I am busy with many things. Today, we talk about the current economic crisis. I totally agreed with Brazilian President Da Silva who said that the world economic crisis is caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes who before the crisis appeared to know everything but unfortunately they demonstrate that they know nothing during the crisis. Just look at Uncle Sam under OBAMA, all they know is to print money and pump it into the Banks and auto companies. After pumping so much money into these companies,it did not solve the problems of the current economic crisis. Instead of just pumping money,the Treasury should ask all the banks and auto maker to carry out a capital reduction scheme,remove the directors and top management and carry out a restructuring scheme.Thus,all the bad people is remove and all the bad assets are taken over by the govt and the companies will start again in a clean slate.In the asian financial crisis,Malaysia formed DANAHARTA to take over the toxic bad loans of the banks and help the banks to carry on their business.The US should formed a company like Danaharta in order to get its financial system running.

I read ROCKY BRU posting in which he stated that he is potentially will be appointed NST editor in chief when Najib takes over. Early last year Rocky wrote an article where he said that he has to reduce his blogging to look for a JOB as they is little or no income through blogging. I met him in BUM 2008 at Lake View Club Subang Jaya where out of my concern for him and appreciation for the information on his blog,I gave him a cheque for a small amount of Rm150 to cover his expenses. Being a gentlemen he is despite being big in stature and tall,he took my cheque but he did not bank it into his account. Subsequently,I met him at a party at BLOG house in Damansara and I ask him why he did not bank in the cheque. He told me that he want to keep my cheque as a remembrance. Therefore,I sincerely hope that Najib will appoint my friend Rocky as the new Editor in chief of NST which is currently going downhill. As for Rocky ,it is time you deserved to have a permanent job such as taking over the seat of Kamiullah Hassan.

RM 12.5Billion EACH for 2009 and 2010.

The 2nd stimulus package announced by Najib is only RM 12.5Billion for each year of 2009 and 2010 making a total for 2 years of RM 25 Billion. It is make up of RM 7.5Billion direct fiscal injection and RM 5 Billion (from EPF) for share investment. The announcement did not indicate where the govt is going to obtain the funds to finance the stimulus package and the amount of direct fiscal injection for 1 year for 7.5 Billion is grossly insufficient.The govt also announced that they is a GUARANTEE funds of RM 25Billion to be spend. I am having doubt of this amount as they is no details to it. The important thing is that the govt should ensure the stimulus package is spent in the right and correct manner where the MULTIPLIER EFFECT of it is at the greatest to the man in the street and not to the cronies of UMNO and BN.This is where the govt create economic activities that create and save jobs and putting food on the table together with preventing the economy from going south into a recession and the MAIN STREET is taking care of by the stimulus package rather benefitting the cronies of the govt. The amount allocated should be spend immediately doing infrastructure projects to benefit the RAKYAT and at the same time giving them a JOB. I hope the stimulus package will help Malaysia to overcome this crisis and the politicians will stop politiking by concentrating on their job. Let hope the amount is sufficient even though my personal opinion is that it is insufficient to restore Investors and consumers confidence. I am very surprise that the govt is able to table a RM 60 Billion package as my take is that the govt of Malaysia is on the VERGE OF BANKRUPT. After an analysis,it is only RM 12.5 Billion.

For the first time in this blog my headline is in Bahasa. The direct translation of Sediakan payung sebelum hujan means "get ready the umbrella before it rain".It can also mean that we should be "safe rather than sorry".This malay proverb was used by the defunct Bank Bumiputra in its advertisement during the early nineties to advise malaysian to save for the rainy days where the RAKYAT are encourage to put their savings in Bank Bumi. It can literally mean that during the time of crisis,the Bank will help the victim by giving them loans to overcome their financial problems. But in reality,the Banks always take away the Payung when the rain comes because the banks is worried that the borrowers will default. During this tough economics times,we must Sediakan Payung Sebelum Hujan by being SAFE Rather THAN SORRY by saving more money in order to overcome the economic problems as we do not know whether tomorrow we have a job or not.Especially now,when the 2nd stimulus package to be announced is only RM 10 Billion which is grossly insufficient to stimulate the economy when the actual amount needed is RM 30 Billion.This again prove that the govt is on the verge of BANKRUPT and this move does not give confidence to the rakyat to overcome this crisis. During this tough economic time, the govt in PERAK is unstable with both BN and PAKATAN RAKYAT going to court to decide who is the letigimate govt for the state of Perak. As we all know BN and PAKATAN have 28 seats each and they are 3 corrupt independent ADUN who supported BN. Because of a narrow majority of 3 seats ,it is not good for BN as a slim majority can be easily overcome when 2 ADUN are bought over as can be seen recently. The SULTAN of Perak made a mistake in this and he should call for a by election for the whole state of PERAK in order to settle this issue once and for all. He should hand the mandate back to the RAKYAT in order to let the RAKYAT decide once and for all who should rule PERAK. Once the by election decide is over ,Perak would have a stable govt irrespective of which party won the election. Therefore,a by election is the answer.

I would like to congratulate Saudara ANAS who took up a full page advertisement in the Star to tell the politicians to stop politiking and carry out their work to help Malaysia to overcome the current economic crisis. As I mentioned in one of my earlier posting,as far as this blog is concerned NAJIB and ANWAR is USELESS as they are more interested in POWER GRABBING than helping the RAKYAT solve the current economic porblems of the country. Today annoucement that the govt will increase the TOLL price for 7 Highways in Malaysia confirmed this blog suspicion that the govt is on the verge of BANKRUPT as a result of MASSIVE CORRUPTION by UMNO and BN. During this tough time,any increase in toll is a BIG BURDEN to the RAKYAT who is having tough time making ends meet. This show that the govt is not interested in the welfare of the people but are taking care of all the TOLL concessionaires because this people who approved the toll receive MONTHLY COMMISSION from the toll companies. This TOll companies are making BIG BUCKS as PLUS announced that for the 4th quarter of 2008 ,its net profit is RM 296 MILLION. In Malaysia today,we need more caring people like ANAS to run the country.If not we will end up like ROBERT MUGABE ZIZBABWE.

The latest news is that Karpal Singh is having possession of a audio recording of CJ Zaki admission of bribing court staffs. As we all know Zaki was appointed CJ as a reward for his outstanding contribution to Umno and his position as CJ is useful to Umno in the future. If the audio recording is TRUE in which CJ Zaki admitted bribing court staff ,then Zaki should RESIGN as CJ just like the way he resign as a member of the Umno disciplinary board for being caught marrying a young malay girl illegally in Thailand. This latest episode again prove that Zaki is a indiscipline person who should not be sitting on the chair as the CJ of Malaysia. As we all know,Bota state assemblyman Nasarudin Hashim have jump ship from Umno to PKR.Therefore,it is fair that Nasarudin relinquish his Bota state seat so that a by election could be held.Nasarudin should respect the democratic process in Malaysia because he was elected by the RAKYAT on an Umno and BN ticket.Thus ,he should return the mandate to the RAKYAT to decide who should be the ADUN for Bota.Irrespective of which party a candidate is from,as long as he or she jump ship to another party the elcted representatives should quit his seat and return the mandate to the RAKYAT so that the RAKYAT can decide who should be their representatives through a by election. I was watching AL Jazeera and CNN on the war in Gaza.The Israelis said that the main goal is to stop the rockets attacked by Hamas and hence the attacked by air ,sea and land.After 10 days of one sided attacked,the main casualties of all this is the civilians especially the childrens.In AL SHIFA hospital in Gaza,many childrens have died as a result of this attacked.I am against what Hamas have done but I do not agree with the massive assault and massacre of the Palestinian people.I still do not understand how a military power like Israel (with the backing of USA)with its modern technology are unable to crack down on the Hamas rockets launching site.What Israel is doing now is to inflict massive collateral damage on the people of Gaza in order to teach Hamas a lesson.IT is using the excuse of cracking down the rockets as a disguise.ISRAEL STOP THE MASSACRE IN GAZA. After all this is happening,WHO PLAY OUT THE PALESTINIAN ? According to the late YASSIR ARAFAT ,the people who always play out the Palestinian is the palestinian ARAB BROTHERS.According to his autobigofry,during the war between palestine and israel,a few head of state of a few arab countries was bribed by USA and UK.After receiving the bribe,the head of state call for a ceasefire during which USA and UK sent extra modern weapons to Israel while the Palestinian was left alone to fight for themselves.Similarly and currently,no ARAB COUNTRIES have come out to condemn and help the palestinian people in GAZA.Stop the Massacre.

AA CEO Tony told malaysian to be brave and transparent in order to make changes that will bring a better MALAYSIA.If you read the blogs,a lot commenter like to hide under anonymous when making a comment.I totally agreed with him that a lot of commenter are coward unlike me as I always revealed myself when I comment on other people blogs. A lot of readers without reasons would like AA to fail.In all fairness,it is because of AA that MAS has turnaround.Is is also because of AA that MOST of the corruption has stopped in MAS.This is because AA ha s prove that an airline when it is properly run can grow rapidly and at the same time profitable.AA has started with 2 aircrafts but currently it has 75.Because of this scenario,the RAKYAT has come to know of the corruption in MAS and the govt has no choice but to remove the crony of UMNO and BN and luckily replace them with IDRIS JALA.If not MAS would be BANKRUPT like ALITALIA. Currently,I know that AA is in financial difficulties but to knock TONY and AA down is grossly unfair.A lot of people have asked me about the real owners of AA? Salute to TONY,the directors,Mgmt and staffs of AA for doing a wonderful job,the real owners of AA is ANADA KRISHNA and DR M.

Govt postponed IJN takeover.

Terima Kasih to SIME DARBY WATCH AZZUDDIN for being the 1st to break the news and ROCKY for continuing the stories.SYABAS to the MUHIBBAH team of doctors at IJN for opposing the takeover.In the end somebody in the govt listen and the deal have postponed indefinitely. But GEORGE CHOO promised that if this deal come up again,I will seek an injunction from the court to stop this deal and scrapped it forever. I am a suggestion for SIME DARBY,If you want a HEART HOSPITAL,bulid one yourself and do not rob the RAKYAT of the best hospital in the country.

Govt consent to IJN takeover by SIME DARBY

Recently,the govt told EPF to loan RM 5 Billion to Valuecap to bailout their relatives and crony.The latest news today that the govt consented to IJN being taken over by SIME DARBY confirmed my suspicion that this irresponsible govt is on the verge of being BANKRUPT.If Sime Darby takes control of IJN,the days of cheap medical care for the poor and needy is coming to an end.The reason given by the DPM for the takeover is that the pay of DOCTORS and Nurses in IJN will increase with SD in control.The real reason the govt let go IJN is that it does not have enough money to sudsidise IJN as most of the money is corrupted.Imagine, if the huge amount that is corrupted by UMNO and BN is giver to IJN,the facility for health care will improve tremendously in the IJN.A group of DOCTORS left recently but the standard of health care provided by IJN is still the same and there is no reason for the govt to sell IJN to SD.To all the poor MAK CIK,PAK CIK ,Uncles and Aunties who suffer from heart disease,I will pray hard for you as the days of cheap medical care at IJN is coming to an end.I am willing to pay a lawyer to go to court to stop this nonsense and any lawyer willing to help,please make a comment on the comment column and I will come to see you.

According to Sime Darby Watch WeBSITE,Sime Darby is taking over IJN the National Heart Institute.This is bad news for all the poor Mak Cik,Pak Cik,Uncles and Aunties who is suffering HEART AILMENT and the days of cheap and subsidise medical treatment in the IJN is coming to an end.If Sime Darby Watch wed masters Azzudin is correct that the Govt under the MOF have sold IJN to Sime Darby and Rocky is right in saying that none of the good consultants have left,I think this govt is irresponsible and have not learn anything from the last election.The principal objective of the IJN is to provide cheap heart specialist medical care to the poor and needy and it will come to an end when Sime takes over. Just look at Subang Jaya Medical Center.I hope some legal expert out there can help me by advising whether a taxpayer like me can go to court to stop all this nonsense.Someone out there,please help because if we do not do something,a lot of poor people will be in trouble.To all the Mak Cik,Pak Cik,Uncles and Aunties who seek treatment in IJN,GEORGE CHOO will PRAY HARD for all of you.

Cabinet to discuss on reduction of oil price.

My reliable source just told me that the cabinet will discuss further price reduction of petrol in its weekly meeeting tomorrow (wednesday).In my last posting it was determine that the price of petrol should be RM 1.00 with subsidy.If the govt cares for the rakyat,it should reduce pump price of petrol to RM 1.00 IMMEDIATELY. I challenge the govt to reduce the petrol price to ONE RINGGIT as the RAKYAT deserve to enjoy cheap petrol price as Malaysia is a NET EXPORTER of oil with a surplus of 55000 barrels of oil per day.

Price of petrol should be RM1 with subsidy and RM1.30 without subsidy

1 Barrel of oil = 152 liters of oil.
Price Per Barrel = US$ 41 (CLOSING PRICE IN AMERICAN MARKET).
Therefore, price per liter of oil is 41 divided by 152 = US$0.269 = US$0.27
Conversion to RM at US$1 = RM3.60,per liter of petrol is 0.27 x 3.6 = RM 0.972.
Cost of refinery and transportation per liter is RM0.32sen.Subsidy is 30sen.

Therefore,price of petrol per liter WITH SUBSIDY is
RM 0.972 + 0.32 - 0.30 = RM 0.992 = RM 1.00.

But price of petrol WITHOUT SUBSIDY is RM 0.972 + 0.32 = RM 1.292 = RM 1.30.
The above calculation prove that the govt is making money from the petrol price and it is advisable for the govt to reduce the price of petrol in order to reduce the burden of the RAKYAT.

Today,Malaysiakini confirmed that Malaysia is in recession. With respect, web portal Malaysiakini confirmation is 2 weeks later than the confirmation of recession in Malaysia by George Choo on this website on my last posting on 19th November.As all our export market is in recession which make us lose our export revenue,the only way to avoid a recession is through "PUMP PRIMING" where the Govt spend big money on infrastructure projects to grow the economy through the "MULTIPLIER EFFECT".To do this the govt must have money like what the chinese govt have done by spending US$586 Million to move the economy.Unfortunately in Malaysia,because of corruption the govt is on the verge of BANKRUPTCY and it does not have money to carry out projects as it has cancelled projects like the Penang Outer Ring Road and monorail projects together with the fact that it has asked EPF to loan RM5 Billion to Valuecap.As I have advice the readers of this blog,we are in recession for the long run as the govt does not have money to grow the economy and the best defence is to control our expenditure as "NO ONE WILL CRY WITH YOU WHEN YOU ARE IN DEEP FINANCIAL TROUBLE".

If recession in Malaysia is measure by the number of pair of shoes purchased by the girls and ladies,then is is CONFIRMED that Malaysia is in RECESSION.It is reported that female shoe customer will on average buy 10 pairs of shoes every year but for 2008,they on average purchase only 7 pairs of shoes.The shoe industry is feeling the pinch of the global economic meltdown as sales have dropped 25% since Hariraya.According to the Malaysia Shoe industry Association sales for 2009 will be worse. The number of pairs purchase by female is a good economy indicator as it show the purchasing power of the ladies.Many years ago,I have a girlfriend Jenny who have the same ideology in shoes as Imelda Marcos.When she go to a shoe boutique,she will buy not one or two pairs but three pairs at any one time. The maximum number of times she wear each pair of shoes is 5 times and subsequently these shoes will be display at her shoes museum until chinese new year where she will take all to her hometown Ipoh and the shoes is given to all the ladies and girls FOC.In good times the female will buy more than one pair of shoes at any given time but currently they will buy only 1 pair. Hence,the shoe industry is expecting a dropped in business of more than 30% for 2009.Therefore,a good indicator have proved that Malaysia is indeed in RECESSION.

Congratulations to the people of USA for being BRAVE TO MAKE CHANGES in voting OBAMA as the 1st BLACK PRESIDENT of the USA. In Malaysia, we must also BE BRAVE in changing the govt from UMNO and BN to the opposition.In this current Economic Turmoil,we need a clean and transparent govt who work for the people and the country .Because of this personal interest,the govt of Malaysia is in great financial difficulties. Remember that the Japanese have thrown out the Liberal Democrat Party (LDP) which is the longest ruling party in Japan. In Taiwan,the Taiwanese have thrown out the KUOMINTANG Party (KMT) when the KMT does not carry out its responsibilities to the Taiwanese.Hence,Malaysia should follow suit by throwing out UMNO and BN in the next election.Usually,political party that are thrown out tend to do better the next time around when they govern and hence Malaysian must change the govt instead of the other way round.Hopefully when UMNO and BN are sidelined,they will change to become better political party.Judging from the political structure of UMNO,I will bet to mt last dollar that UMNO will not change and we the voter have to do UMNO a big favour by changing the govt.By the way ,CONGRATULATION TO BARACK OBAMA.
